The --transport http flag matters. Without it the CLI treats the URL as a local command to run, and fails in a way that looks like the server is down.

Claude desktop or web

Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector. Paste the URL.

Grok, Codex, Gemini, Cursor, or anything else that speaks MCP

Add it as a remote MCP server over HTTP. Every agent labels this differently, so check your agent's connector or MCP documentation for the exact path. Use whichever agent you already work in. None is preferred, and none scores higher.

What happens next
